I'm not sure the last time this bathroom was done, but the avocado tile suggests late 60's, early 70's. It was time. This bathroom remodel in Tulsa was a lot of . The shower pan was still good, but we added RedGard to everything to ensure nothing leaked. The house had some shifting that had already been shored up, but left the subfloor uneven. We leveled it out.
We also added lighting and vent with an independent circuit for the heater. Replaced the old window and vanity.. It came out absolutely gorgeous. Have a look!
This bathroom remodel in Tulsa was a complete tear down. It had many violations as it was a 30 year old addition by the homeowner at the time. We found rotted floor joists and subfloor. Improperly distributed load, concealed electrical junctions (outside a junction box) concealed water shutoff valves. Broken waste stack. Broken toilet flange. There were a lot of issues. Nothing we couldn't handle. Take a peek!
This bathroom was renovated not too long ago. I believe the owner said 15 years ago. unfortunately, the last remodeler was a handyman, but not real skilled. We found the shower pan corners were taped together with duct tape. The liner didn't go over the curb, nor did it go up the wall more than 2 inches and it wasn't sealed and didn't have the proper drain flange.
Needless to say, it leaked... BADLY!! It rotted through the wall in multiple spots, though that was exacerbated by tiling directly to drywall without a waterproof membrane of any kind. It also rusted out the toilet flange to the point it was useless and had to be replaced.
No more leaks! We sealed everything up tight, replaced the drain flanges and applied RedGard over concrete backer. Then we installed this gorgeous oversized subway tile in a greige gloss and trimmed with chrome and polished hexagonal mosaics.
It came out so beautiful! Thanks for your business Bob!
This project in Tulsa started with a steeply sloped hill that was difficult to mow for most, but absolutely dangerous to mow with dew or moisture on the grass. it could easily have rolled a riding lawn mower over too! No problem for Renovate 918! We cut into the hill then backfilled with large gravel and a sleeved french drain before building it up with 18-inch blocks and adding irrigation sprinklers.
This beautiful home in Sand Springs just needed a facelift. This is a custom built home and the homeowner had already replaced about 40% of the old vinyl before calling us out to wrap things up. We installed the HardiPlank siding to every stud using 3.25" galvanized ring shank nails and finished up with a fresh coat of paint. We also replaced vinyl on portions of the shop. Check it out!
This little home in Sapulpa needed a budget friendly upgrade for a veteran. What better than using reclaimed vinyl siding from a previous project. If you look closely at the before pictures, you'll notice this house actually has built-in porches on both ends which were converted to living space earlier in it's life. The original "house" (or living space) is where you see the existing 1930's asbestos siding. The new (reclaimed) siding helps to tie the additions together.
My customer loves gardening and asked us to upgrade her Zen. When we started this project in Tulsa she was clearly stressed about her Zen garden. She also explained how a recent storm rolled her galvanized metal shed over off the slab foundation. Thankfully the fence kept it from getting too far down the block.
It had some minor bruises. No problem! We got it anchored into the concrete slab and then built this deck and privacy fence in the garden. She brought the Zen back!
This customer needed a quick update on her kitchen in Tulsa while she was out of town for a conference. Not a full kitchen remodel, but some sprucing up. She had an upcoming birthday and wanted to entertain some friends to celebrate. She didn't want to break the bank, but wanted quality materials and craftsmanship.
That's why she brought us in! We tore out several layers of linoleum, beefed up the subfloor and made the transition into the old addition seamless. Then we installed gorgeous plank floor tiles with new base moldings and new subway tile backsplashes, new formica, outlets and switches, appliances, and the customer repainted the cabinets. It came out great!
This customer had an older home in need of some TLC. She couldn't remember exactly how long this door had been sealed closed after structural failure, but thought it had been over a decade. No problem, we deal with this all the time!
She wanted to replace the old door with a wider door requiring a new exterior header. We got you! While we had things opened up, we added some exterior outlets and a porch light, and of course we also secured the power lines and an exterior light that was out of compliance. Hope to work with you again!
